Do not just say, "I like it" or "I hate it." Please be specific, eg. "I like the cropping and placement of the main subject." Or "The image lacks brilliance in the mid-tones."

You do not have to be an "expert" to comment on an image, especially if there is something that you like about an image.

It is important to remember that all comments are as much a reflection of the person commenting, as they are of the image it'self. This is a forum for learning, not to take things personally. Think creatively, not defensively!

When choosing your photo to post, think in terms of selecting an image that you need help on, rather than your best photo. It is most most beneficial to post your good photos  in the Galleries section.
